The Morning Show star ranked in top place in a new survey titled The Most Iconic Vintage Red Carpet Looks, conducted by Save on Energy in timing with the Golden Globe awards on Sunday.

Jennifer’s John Galliano for Christian Dior gown, which she wore to the 2020 Emmy Awards, received 24 per cent of the vote, seeing her beat other vintage-wearing stars, including Reese Witherspoon, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

The survey revealed that 70 per cent of women said that seeing a celebrity wearing a vintage or recycled look encouraged them to shop second-hand.

Jennifer Aniston’s vintage John Galliano for Christian Dior gown topped a star-studded new poll

While Jennifer isn’t up for any nominations at this year’s Golden Globes, she’s no stranger to the prestigious ceremony.

In 2020, the 52-year-old was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Morning Show. The award went to Olivia Colman for her portrayal of the Queen in The Crown.

While the past year has been different for everyone, Jennifer has now been able to return to work to start filming the second series of The Morning Show.

On Friday, the award-winning star shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself making a coffee in the kitchen on set.

The star is also getting ready to reunite with her Friends co-stars for the much-anticipated reunion show. Due to the pandemic restrictions, the show has been repeatedly delayed, but it was revealed earlier in the month that the cast has began filming for it.

Here’s Your Early Look at ‘The Morning Show’ Season 2

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are back behind the anchor desk.

Apple TV+ released a new trailer promoting its upcoming star-studded slate on Friday as part of the winter Television Critics Association press tour, and in a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, footage from the upcoming season of The Morning Show were sprinkled throughout the two-minute teaser.

In the opening seconds, the camera focuses in on Aniston’s Alex Levy as she sits across an unknown figure, looking as if she’s bracing for what’s coming. Another glimpse sees Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson leaning against the wall behind her with a distressed expression on her face as she lets out a deep sigh. There are also snapshots of Steve Carell‘s disgraced host, Mitch Kessler, in a car en route to a destination yet unknown and Bradley “cheers”-ing at a fancy dinner party.

Joining Aniston, Witherspoon and Carell in season 2 is new addition Julianna Margulies, who will play Laura Peterson, anchor at UBA News, the umbrella division under which Alex and Bradley’s morning show is housed. Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj and Ruairi O’Connor are among the new cast members in the ensemble, which includes Mark Duplass, Billy Crudup, Nestor Carbonell, Bel Powell, Karen Pittman and Desean Terry.

Jennifer Aniston Nabs First-Ever Dramatic Emmy Nom

Jennifer Aniston has officially crossed over from beloved comedy star to beloved drama actor in the eyes of the Television Academy: She nabbed her first-ever dramatic acting Emmy nomination (for Apple TV Plus’ “The Morning Show”) on Tuesday.

“You did the work. It was just really clear. You were this other person. And you are poised, but it was a different shade of poise, maturity. It was just really thrilling,” Aniston’s former “Friends” costar Lisa Kudrow said to Aniston of her work on “The Morning Show” during Variety‘s Actors on Actors in June.

Aniston credited this to actor and acting coach Nancy Banks, who she called an “incredible woman” with whom she breaks down scripts. “I feel like I’ve discovered a whole new doorway into what we do — into acting — that I’d never, in all the years, even thought about,” she said. “I have a whole new tool belt.”

Aniston’s prior Emmy attention, including her one win to date, was all in the comedy genre. She saw two consecutive noms in 2000 and 2001 for supporting comedy actress for her role as Rachel Green on NBC’s modern classic sitcom “Friends” and then picked up three more consecutive noms for that role in the lead category, starting in 2002. (2002 also marked her first and only Emmy win to date.) Her most recent Emmy nom comes in the guest comedy actress for her turn as an old friend of Liz Lemon’s (Tina Fey) on “30 Rock” in 2009.

This is far from Aniston’s first attention in the role of morning news anchor Alex Levy on Kerry Ehrin’s streaming series, though. During the winter awards season, she scored a Golden Globe nom and a SAG win. That SAG became her first-ever small-screen dramatic statue; she had previously won in the comedy ensemble category for “Friends” in 1996.

On the film side, Aniston’s dramatic work has been celebrated before, with SAG and Golden Globe noms for “Cake” in 2015.

Jennifer Aniston, Sadly, Will Not Be the Godmother of Katy Perry’s Daughter After All

Alas, Katy Perry and Jennifer Aniston are not quite the bosom buddies the tabloids would have us believe. According to the pop star, those prior reports that Aniston will be the godmother to her unborn daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom are a total fiction.

During an appearance on the Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O on Sunday, Perry explained, “She texted us, because we are friendly with her and Orlando is one of her good friends, and we were like, ‘Wow, this is a wild rumor.’ I mean, God knows with her, she’s had everything said about her. But I guess this is a fun rumor. But no, we have no idea where it came from.”

That fun rumor was originated by The Mirror which claimed last week that the Friends actress, and Perry’s “number one friend,” has been “a huge support” to her and Bloom during the quarantine. An anonymous source told the tabloid, “Katy and Jen are very close. During lockdown, they went for socially distanced walks and spent lots of time catching up. She is pretty chuffed about it as well and cried when they asked her.” The fact that this L.A. source used the word “chuffed” probably should have been a dead giveaway.

Perry went on to tell the radio hosts that the story was purely “a product of the media and the internet,” joking “You should definitely believe everything that you read.”

Jennifer Aniston opens up on her friend’s battle with Covid-19

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has urged everyone to wear masks, and cited the fight that a close friend of hers named Kevin is waging against COVID-19 as the reason.
“This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, not one underlying health issue. This is Covid. This is real. We can’t be so naive to think we can outrun this… if we want this to end, and we do, right? The one step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask,” she captioned the post.

Along with it, she put up a picture of Kevin in the hospital, battling the virus.

Aniston added: “Just think about those who’ve already suffered through this horrible virus. Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages.”

“PS this photo was taken in early April. Thank god he has almost recovered now. Thank you all for your prayers,” she wrote.

“I’m Not Settling for Lip Service”: Janelle Monae, Jennifer Aniston, Zendaya, Reese Witherspoon, Helena Bonham Carter, Rose Byrne and the Drama Actress Roundtable

THR-Six top actresses get real about everything from dismantling systemic racism (“It can’t just be, ‘We’re going to march with you and do a hashtag'”) to fighting typecasting (“For the life of me, I could not escape ‘Rachel from “Friends”‘”).

The Hollywood Reporter‘s Drama Actress Roundtable was set to take place two weeks before it actually did. But as the country hit a boil, erupting in protest following the killing of George Floyd, its early June timing no longer felt right.

The actresses — The Morning Show‘s Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon (also of Little Fires Everywhere and Big Little Lies), Homecoming‘s Janelle Monáe, Euphoria‘s Zendaya, Mrs. America‘s Rose Byrne and The Crown‘s Helena Bonham Carter — collectively decided they needed the space and time to properly process what was happening around them. And with it, a chance to listen and learn.

When the sextet ultimately came to the (virtual) table on June 20, they spoke candidly about their own reckonings along with their professional fears and the power that they, as women, have now like never before. As Witherspoon says at one point, “We know that we matter.”

We are living through a unique moment in history, both with the pandemic and, more recently, the social unrest. What have you learned about yourselves during this time?

REESE WITHERSPOON A lot, and I’m continuing to learn. I think being an awake, aware, conscious, empathetic, thoughtful human being, if you have even an ounce of any of that, it’s pretty exhausting and morally trying. And it’s been a time to really dig deep and examine what are you doing in your life and in your business and in your work and really look at those things with new eyes.

JENNIFER ANISTON And having the [space] to be alone and not be distracted has been almost divine timing in terms of the order of how everything has unfolded. I think that’s a blessing of this pandemic because there wasn’t any chance for people to get distracted going back to work or going out to dinners or whatever. We were all pulled together, and it feels extremely unifying and oddly beautiful. And I’ve never read more in my life.

HELENA BONHAM CARTER I’m over here in London, and it’s extraordinary that there is one thing that has unified us all and yet we are all having very different experiences, depending on your privilege, your situation economically and also your health. I haven’t been directly affected or known anyone who’s been badly affected by COVID, so it’s the luxury of time that we don’t [ordinarily] have. It’s fascinating that we have to rely on the whole world stopping for us to stop.

ANISTON Yeah.

BONHAM CARTER And with the Black Lives [Matter] movement, because it’s happening now, we have the time to properly consider it and see what everyone can do about it. People have said, “Do you think it would have happened if COVID hadn’t happened?” And I feel unfortunately not.

ANISTON I agree with you.

BONHAM CARTER Everyone has the time and the space to actually change society on a profound level. But it’s extraordinary living through history. We are very privileged. And I know that this time for me has been utterly precious and I think I’ll come away with things that are profoundly changed. Also, as an actor, it’s a nice thing because everybody is as unemployed as I am and I don’t have to worry about it. You’re always looking over your shoulder. (Laughter.)
